Dear guest!
In the south of Estonia, a little village called Juula, a local heritage cafe and farm market opened its doors on April 6, 2018. For us, the concept of home is not limited to garden gates – home also includes our village, our county, and, more broadly, all of Estonia. We want it to be beautiful and well-maintained, with our culture and history honored, surrounded by clean nature, and with people who care for one another. With these thoughts in mind, we founded our family business to help make our village more vibrant, to offer local food, create a small cozy cafe, and produce healthy, nature-inspired treats for our children. When you visit, you’ll not only get a hearty meal but also an experience and valuable information! Come and see for yourself!
Our menu is inspired by Estonia’s rich culinary heritage, where the mighty tales of Kalevipoeg meet the UNESCO-listed Mulgi cuisine. Every dish is prepared on-site using the finest ingredients from local small producers. Our kitchen proudly features organically grown regional vegetables, a herb garden, and berry bushes, offering fresh flavors straight from nature’s embrace.
Dining here is a special experience – our dishes are served on handcrafted clay tableware adorned with authentic runic symbols.
We follow an environmentally friendly approach certified by Green Key, ensuring sustainability and respect for nature.
For travelers and adventurers, we provide the opportunity to stay overnight with a caravan, with access to a shower, charging facilities, and wastewater disposal services.
We also offer engaging workshops, where you can create your own herbal salt and truffles – a great way to take a piece of local flavors home with you.
And to complete the experience – right next to us is Elistvere animal park, where you can meet some charming residents!
We also offer special catering to groups – please contact us for additional information if you’re interested. To order from our group menu, your group has to contain at the minimum 10 people. Place orders as early as possible, at least 3 days before.
